ABOUT

Hello, my name is David Miller and I am an energy worker, acupressurist, and herbalist.

In 1990 I took my first Zen Shiatsu class at the Desert School of the Healing Arts in Tuscon, Arizona. Shiatsu is a form of Japanese acupressure bodywork that works with five element theory, and the eight principle theory used by Traditional Chinese Medicine.

In 2000 I spent a year studying Celtic Herbalism with Gina McGarry at Brighid's Academy of the Healing Arts in Eugene, Oregon.

In 2005 I began studying Shiatsu at CenterPoint Massage & Shiatsu Therapy School & Clinic in Minneapolis, and successfully completed their two year Professional Shiatsu Therapy program.

In 2007 I began my bodywork practice known as Southside Shiatsu.

In 2020 during the early days of the Pandemic, I began to pivot to teaching online classes/workshops and doing one-on-one health counseling with clients that synthesized my experience in my Shiatsu Practice and my work with plants and their medicine over the last three decades.

In 2021, I launched Root to Bloom Wellness.

I offer bodywork, online classes, and one-on-one health coaching that incorporates and synthesizes my knowledge of herbology and the energetics of the body.

My goal is to work with my clients to create an individually tailored health plan that promotes their optimal health, balance, and well being.
